When I searched Sung Jin Woo Gemini Prompts, i didn’t found a single real life transformation prompt, so as a solo leveling fan, i decided to create myself and share with you guys.
But transforming user into a real life was one of the biggest challenges compared to other anime characters, mostly because of shadow effects because most of the time AI get the basic black outfit right, but they completely miss the details that make him recognizable.
The hairstyle looks wrong, the shadow effects become random purple smoke, and the final result often feels like a generic anime protagonist rather than the Shadow Monarch from Solo Leveling. So, I started with basics that can be created easily like location, outfits and pose that fans instantly recognize.
Instead of creating fantasy battle scenes filled with unnecessary effects, I tested prompts that capture Jin-Woo’s signature hairstyle, black wardrobe, calm expressions, and the iconic blue-black shadow energy seen throughout the series.
I also experimented with placing him in realistic modern locations to see how a live-action version of Sung Jin-Woo might look if he existed in the real world. For me personally, it looks better than the anime style transformations.
The result is a mix of everyday scenarios and iconic Solo Leveling moments that stay faithful to the character while still working well with Google Gemini.
Also, one thing I forget to mention is that apart from from these high quality self tested prompts, you need to more things so that all the images are created perfectly: a clear face close-up photo and Gemini 3.1 pro model. You can even use ChatGPT for better results. One last tip

Why Most AI Sung Jin-Woo Images Look Wrong
So, let’s discuss a little bit about the problems of other site’s prompts that made me create my own sung Jin Woo prompts. The biggest problem is that many prompts focus on making the image look 2d style anime art, some even tried to make realistic but resulted in plastic or 3d skin.
When I looked at failed generations, I noticed the same issues appearing repeatedly. The hairstyle became generic anime hair, the eyes glowed too intensely, the clothing looked like fantasy armor, and the shadow effects completely overpowered the scene.
After experimenting more than 30+ prompts, i realised Sung Jin-Woo’s design is actually much simpler than many people realize. His appearance relies on clean black clothing, a specific hairstyle, controlled expressions, and subtle shadow energy. Once those details are correct, the image becomes recognizable immediately.
The Detail That Instantly Makes A Character Look Like Sung Jin-Woo
If I had to choose only one element, it would be the hairstyle. I think he is one the most popular anime characters that can be easily recognised with just hairstyle, as he does have very unique style.
Many AI tools create spiky anime hair that doesn’t match Solo Leveling at all but like denji or gojo. Jin-Woo’s hairstyle is layered, slightly messy, and falls naturally across the forehead. It isn’t exaggerated or overly styled.
Even before adding shadow effects or clothing, getting the hairstyle right dramatically improves the resemblance.
Real-Life Sung Jin-Woo Vs Anime Scene Recreation
I wanted to give you all the options possible from what Jin Woo would look like in a real life and how the live action version of anime will look like and while testing these prompts, I found that both approaches work surprisingly well. But real life version reflected slightly more aura.
The real-life versions place Sung Jin-Woo in ordinary locations such as libraries, airports, convenience stores, and city streets. These images feel like photographs someone might actually take.
The anime recreations focus on memorable Solo Leveling moments such as the Shadow Monarch throne, the “Arise” scene, the Double Dungeon encounter, and the Red Gate arc. (Few of these were removed as the results weren’t that impressive) These prompts stay closer to the original source material while still maintaining realistic facial details.
Both styles produce completely different results, so I recommend experimenting with each category.
The Shadow Effect I Prefer Using
One mistake I kept seeing was the use of realistic smoke simulations that looked disconnected from the Solo Leveling art style.
For these prompts, I prefer a softer anime-inspired blue-black shadow effect. Instead of turning the entire scene into a cloud of smoke, the shadow energy appears around the feet, hands, clothing edges, or surrounding environment.
This approach feels much closer to how the shadow powers appear in the anime and manhwa.
Why I Avoided Overpowered Aura Effects
Many AI prompts try to make characters look stronger by surrounding them with massive glowing effects.
In practice, this often has the opposite result.
Large energy explosions, bright neon outlines, and excessive particle effects usually distract from the character. Sung Jin-Woo’s design works best when the focus stays on his expression, posture, and shadow presence rather than visual overload.
By keeping the shadow effects controlled i managed to create a much cleaner and more believable image.
Small Changes That Improve Sung Jin-Woo Prompts
A few adjustments made a surprisingly large difference during testing:
- Mentioning layered black hair instead of simply saying anime hair.
- Using fitted black clothing instead of fantasy armor.
- Keeping facial expressions calm and controlled.
- Limiting the intensity of shadow effects.
- Using blue-black energy rather than random purple or red effects.
- Choosing realistic environments whenever possible.
- Avoiding excessive glow around the eyes.
These details helped preserve the character’s identity much more effectively.
FAQs
Do I Need To Know Solo Leveling To Use These Prompts?
No. You can simply upload a photo and use the prompts as they are. However, fans of the series will recognize many of the iconic references and scenes.
Which Version Looks More Realistic: Real-Life Or Anime?
The real-life prompts generally produce more believable photographs because the locations and lighting are based on everyday environments.
Can I Use My Own Outfit Instead Of The Black Coat?
Yes, but the black coat and fitted black clothing are major parts of Jin-Woo’s visual identity. Replacing them may reduce the resemblance. To compensate this try keeping the shadow effects.
